Kathy Chapman will join November 1 Song & Story Swap

Please come share in an evening of music and stories at the Pioneer Valley Folklore Society Song & Story Swap.

Kathy Chapman will join the Song & Story Swap at the nacul Center in Amherst on November 1Saturday, November 1 , 7:00-9:30 p.m. at the The Nacul Center, 592 Main St., Amherst, Mass (see map).

Please note that the Song & Story Swap has moved to the first Saturday of each month.

Kathy Chapman is a mainstay of the flourishing northern Pioneer Valley music scene.  A thoughtful songwriter and talented acoustic guitarist, she is gifted with a smooth, emotive voice that allows her to seamlessly cross over to country and rock songs when the occasion calls. In 2002 she joined Dick Amberman in the duo, Limited Edition, releasing a CD, Because of You, that is available at CDBaby.com.

Kathy Chapman has played at various festivals in and around the valley, and is a member of COOP CONCERTS, a musician cooperative in Franklin County that conducts a free summer concert series. She performs solo and with the band Whately Green, along with her husband George Chapman, and Roland and Kate Lapierre.

The warm-up theme this month is Falling. Falling

You can tell, sing, or lead everyone in singing, or request a song or story.  Listeners are welcome.
